The trail we did not walk on

We were interested in a walk on this hiking trail in the forest, but just a few steps in we were swarmed by mosquitos. Even with insect repellent, there was no stopping those hungry insects. We abandoned the hiking idea and enjoyed viewing the Everglades from the safety of our car.
